Card Players in Community Room

The combination municipal facility and civic center, remodeled in 2006, is often put to use by the community. Groups such as the Woodturners Club, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, an exercise club and others regularly use it for meetings and seminars.

Lakeview residents may reserve the room at no charge .  Non-residents may also reserve the room but fees do apply.

Artists of Lakeview and surrounding areas may display their wall art in the Civic Center. The paintings are hung by city staff but are labeled with identification and pricing by the artists. Anyone wishing to purchase the art contacts the artist directly.   Artists wishing to display paintings can leave them with Rebecca Barton during office hours.

To make a reservation or inquire about displaying artwork should call or visit Rebecca Barton Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
