If you have questions about zoning regulations go to the Documents under Governance and access the information on-line!
The City just passed Ordinance 12-06, which created the Zoning Regulations as a “stand alone” document. Hopefully this will answer most of the questions you might have about what is allowed in the separate zones and where they are located. Remember, if you have difficulty reading the map or have other questions please contact the Building Inspector, Maynard Gadway, at City Hall. Since he is frequently out of the office you may call 421-2754 to make sure that he is available in the office or to set up an appointment.
NCAP meets on the 4th Monday of every month at the Lloyd Travis Municipal Center at 6:30 PM.
The purpose is to learn more about the U.S. Constitution, enabling its citizens to understand changes proposed to its laws and their constitutionality.
The City held a public hearing prior to the start of the regular City Council Meeting to address the appeal of the owners of the prospective sports bar to extend their operating hours from those set by Planning and Zoning as part of the conditional use of a commercial property. There were approximately 42 people in attendance for the hearing and City Council Meeting.
